Conference name badge printing upon guest check-in with generated QR-Code VCard per attendee

Hello,

We have just updated our conference name badge printing solution and I’am eager to share its functionality with you!
This will help you solve the hassle of organizing your name badges at events.

Let me start by explaining how the process works. When you check-in a guest using our system on your smart-phone, tablet or PC, the device sends the check-in data through our cloud to the printer. The printer then prints a name badge with the attendees’ information in a pre-defined size cut by the printer on the spot. All-in-all this process only takes about one second, and removes any potential bottleneck you may have finding name badge upon guest arrival. We recommend using thermal printers as they will never run out of ink/toner, and print the fastest.

We decided that we wanted to make this feature even better and more flexible.
So, we have now updated the function so that any data that you collected from the registration of your guests can be printed. This can for example be their job title, office location or any other data you may have collected from your guests when they register before the event. From the back-end of our system you can design the layout of your name badge and assign the fields you want to be printed. To top it all up, we added a function that enables the attendees’ contact information (VCard) to be printed on the badge as a QR-Code. When networking at an event, instead of exchanging business cards you can now scan your new acquaintance’s name badge with your smart-phone using your favorite QR reader to collect their contact information.

Pretty neat stuff!
